MONTHLY SCRIPTURE READING

School-wide, we will be reading the following

passages aloud each morning.

All AHCS students will be required to quote the appropriate monthly scripture as a part of their Bible class grade.

We would love our AHCS families to join with us and reinforce this teaching. Please consider reading these together

with your children in the evenings and weekends.

To assist with this, we will provide you these copies

for your home use.

True Love

I Corinthians 13:4-7

     4. Love suffers long and is kind;

love does not envy;

love does not parade itself, is not puffed up,

5. does not believe rudely, does not seek its own,

is not provoked, thinks no evil;

   6. does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth;

7. bears all things, believes all things,

hopes all things, endures all things.

This Week's Events

Thank you to all of the parents, staff and other volunteers that helped with Homecoming last week! It makes everything run smoother and so much nicer when many hands are involved. Thank you to Krissy Borrayo and her ROAR team for all of their efforts and hard work to make the games so much fun!

In the event that it is necessary to close school due to dangerous road conditions, power outages or any other event, we will post it on our Facebook page and our website and we will send out an email.

We will also post it on the Southeast Michigan School Closing network, which will post the closing on channels 2, 4, 7, 50 and 62 along with radio stations WWJ and WJR.

It is always our goal to make the decision no later than 6am when possible.
