|We are very proud of our 7th grade student Jaden Burnette. Jaden has always had a heart to help others and she recently began a campaign to help hurricane victims. I learned about this latest campaign when an AHCS alumnus emailed to tell me how proud they were to hear one of our students talking on the radio about what they were doing to help others. Jaden's projects are called Jaden's Loving Arms. Jaden we are so proud of your efforts to reach out to help others!|

September Character Trait and Scripture
Character Trait - Respect
I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love
Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling:
One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:1-6 (KJV)
ELC and Elementary students will learn the same scripture in the New Living Translation, shown below.
Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all.
